2011/2012 Season

Original Wildlife Snowshoe Adventure: Duration 2-3 hours
A snowshoe tour through a Cottonwood Forest to the banks of the Snake River where we take in spectacular views of the Grand Tetons. We interpret animal tracks in the snow including Moose, Elk, White Tail and Mule Deer, Coyote and River Otter. We occasionally catch a glimpse of these animals. Along the river bank we often see Bald Eagles, Trumpeter Swans and a variety of other waterfowl. All this happens in our quiet corner of the Jackson Hole Valley. Your guides pack is filled with tasty snacks and hot beverages which we enjoy at a stop along our route. The last half of our adventure takes us to our Tipi Camp. The Spring Creek Trail leads us over a beaver dam to an area where Elk are often spotted.
Price: $450 for 1 to 3 people, $90 for each additional person. Maximum 12 persons **

Wildlife Snowshoe Adventure with Hot Lunch and a Warm Tipi: Duration 3-4 hours
In addition to our Snowshoe Tour we will enjoy a western lunch. As we approach our Riverside Camp we can see smoke curling up from the top of the Tipi. Inside we find a roaring fire in the wood stove. It is warm enough to shed some layers and sit down to a hot lunch of hearty homemade soup and grilled sandwiches. Hot spiced cider, hot chocolate, coffee and tea are made to order. A delicious homemade dessert will satisfy our sweet tooth before we again strap on our snowshoes for the walk out.
Price: $900 for 1 to 6 people, $130 for each additional person. Maximum 12 persons **

Wildlife Snowshoe Adventure with Appetizers: Duration 3-4 hours
In addition to our Snowshoe Tour we will enjoy the early evening as the Tetons are lit by Alpenglow by the setting sun. The roaring camp fire on the river bank is a welcome sight as the late afternoon temperature begins to drop. Appetizers are served around the campfire and we raise our glasses to toast the setting sun. Delicious cookies will satisfy our sweet tooth before we again strap on our snowshoes for the walk out in time to make a dinner reservation.

Guests are welcome to bring their favorite adult beverages.
Price: $900 for 1 to 6 people, $130 for each additional person. Maximum 12 persons **

Wildlife Snowshoe Adventure Evening Dinner and a Warm Tipi: Duration 4-5 hours
In addition to our Snowshoe Tour we will enjoy a western dinner. We approach the Tipi Camp as the setting sun bathes the Tetons in alpenglow. The roaring camp fire on the river bank is a welcome sight as the late afternoon temperature begins to drop. Appetizers are served around the campfire and we raise our glasses to toast the setting sun. As the sun finally slips over the mountains, we head into the Tipi for dinner. It is warm and in the soft light of the candles we can see that the sofas and chairs are piled high with blankets and pillows so everyone can find a comfortable spot for the feast to come. And what a feast it is! Our Custom Gourmet Dinner features a choice of Wild Caught Salmon or Buffalo, Dutch Oven Baked Potato and Grilled Fresh Vegetables. Leave room for our Dutch Oven baked desserts and coffee! As dinner concludes many guests wish they could stay the night. A Wyoming winter sky greets us as we emerge and strap on our snowshoes in the light of the glowing Tipi. Lanterns mark the trail from camp and we walk through the dark forest guided by these points of light.

Guests are welcome to bring their favorite adult beverages.
